RODENTICIDES
Noted for outstanding rodent acceptance and control, Bell's rodenticides
contain only the highest grade toxicants and inert ingredients. In fact,
Bell is the only manufacturer in North America to synthesize the active
ingredients used in its baits, guaranteeing customers the most effective
products available.
To meet the wide demands of rodent control, Bell manufactures
rodenticides in several formulations - extruded BLOX, pellets, seed, meal,
and liquid bait, as well as tracking powder.
Rodenticides contain different active ingredients:
- Contrac contains the single-feeding anticoagulant, bromadiolone
- Ditrac contains the anticoagulant, diphacinone
- Fastrac contains the acute active ingredient, bromethalin
- Final contains the single-feeding anticoagulant, brodifacoum
- Liqua-Tox contains the anticoagulant, sodium salt of diphacinone
- Quintox contains the calcium liberating ingredient, cholecalciferol
- ZP contains the acute active ingredient, zinc phosphide

Pre-measured BLOX come in a variety of
sizes:
* The large, Super-Size Blox (8 oz., 225g and 200g) works well for heavy
rodent infestations and in sewers. It also fits on bait securing rods in
rat-size PROTECTA and PROTECTA LP Bait Stations.
* The most popular sized BLOX (1 oz., 28g, 20g, and 15g) are extremely
versatile for use in tight locations, nailed to rafters or ceilings, and in
Bell's rat- and mouse-size, tamper-resistant bait stations.
* A mini-BLOX (5g) without a center hole is available in some international
markets for use in bait stations.

| Pelleted bait is packaged in bulk pails
and in polyglassine place pacs of various sizes that keep bait fresh and
free from contaminating odors. Rodents open the place pacs with their
gnawing. The slender place pacs can be used in bait stations along rodent
runways and in hard-to-reach locations. Pacs can be opened also and loose
pellets poured down burrows. |

Tamper-resistant PROTECTA Bait Stations
are an integral part of baiting. They keep bait away from children,
livestock, pets and other animals, as well as protect bait from dust, dirt,
moisture and other contaminants so bait stays fresh longer. Use them also to
monitor rodent activity to determine areas of heavy and mild infestation.
Made of heavy-duty, injection-molded plastic, PROTECTA Bait Stations
withstand the toughest baiting situations indoors and out. It's large enough
to accommodate six rats and holds up to one pound of dry bait and one pint
of liquid bait. Horizontal and vertical bait securing rods keep Blox bait
securely in the station.
PROTECTA Bait Station is ideal for perimeter baiting and can be attached to
a permanent structure or staked to the ground for added security. It locks
with a locking screw and unlocks with an Allen key wrench (included). A
padlock also works. Liners which fit into the bait compartment are available
to make cleaning and rebaiting easier. PROTECTA Bait Station measures 11 1/2
" x 12" x 6 1/2" and is available in black, light gray and green to fit
discreetly in any baiting environment. |

TRAPPER
Snap Trap is a spring-loaded trap that's easy and safe to use. A
state-of-the-art mechanical trap, it sets with one hand in one easy motion
-- as easy as opening a clothespin. Unlike conventional snap traps that can
pinch fingers or go off with the slightest vibration,
TRAPPER
Snap Trap is safe enough to use around children and pets, yet strong enough
to kill a mouse. Its serrated teeth optimize the capture of mice.
Laboratory tests show that using the trap with an attractant increases
capture. Short raised posts on the "tongue" of the trap hold peanut butter
or other substances that attract mice. Use TRAPPER Snap Trap alone or in
pairs with the opening toward the wall. Mice enter from either the front or
sides. Place the trap along walls where mice travel, in cupboards or
wherever mice are present. Disposal is also easy. Simply pinch the two ends
together to release the mouse and the trap is automatically reset to be used
over and over again. |
